Children apply to the Iglehart Wilderness Foundation for financial support allowing them to participate in wilderness programs: backpacking, kayaking, fishing, white water rafting, climbing trips, and other programs undertaken in outdoor settings. Once children are accepted for scholarship funding, they are encouraged to reapply in subsequent years so that wilderness experiences become part of their lives.
